Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21, 1983) is a famous American actor. She is most famously known for her role was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV series as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. She was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of high school after her parents separated to go in Los Angeles to live with her mother. Being part of the Gyllenhaal Family, she is the daughter and elder sister to the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Her acting career started as an early teenager, with small role in films made by her father. In addition, she was a part of her brother in 2001's popular movie Donnie Darko. Her next appearance was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for both her performances as a lead character in Secretary (2002) as well as in Sherrybaby (2006), which is an erotic romantic drama as well as Sherrybaby (2006). She was also nominated by the Golden Globe Award.
