Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish meaning "Rosalia") is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. As a teenager, she has worked both in traditional and popular music. Her musical interests have expanded to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitarist and well-known musician, has described the sound of the young singer as sweet and sharp and grit. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she won an Grammy. In 2021, her song La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami, her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. The release came in March 2022 following an appearance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo artist to perform on Saturday Night Live. Motomami was the only female ever to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year twice, and also three Latin Grammy Awards.
